Seven rooms are waiting for you at Okavandu, five in the historic farmhouse and two right by the pool, all fully renovated and furnished in September 2026. Whether you travel as a family or as a couple, explore both categories and find the room where you feel at home.

Farmhouse
In the newly designed historic farmhouse, you stay in quiet comfort. Two of its rooms connect perfectly into a family unit of your own.

Right next to the pool, you relax in the new rooms on your own terrace, a quiet spot away from the bustle of the pool.

The Lapa
The heart of our lodge is right next door to both room types, and this is where your day starts with breakfast and winds down in the evening over good food. Let yourself be spoiled and enjoy your time together.

The Villa
Right at our waterhole, we are currently building our new Villa. The perfect retreat for anyone who likes things even more exclusive, with room for up to 10 guests.
The room categories
We have two room categories, which differ mainly in their location: in the historic farmhouse or right by the pool. Both are fully renovated and furnished with a lot of love for detail.
Farmhouse rooms
The five farmhouse rooms are completely redesigned, with tasteful furnishings and a standard you won't easily find again in this region. We chose every detail with care, from the materials to the lighting, so you feel comfortable from the very first moment.
Two of the rooms connect to form a family unit of your own, ideal for a stay together with children.

Together in the farmhouse
The farmhouse also has a living room with a leather sofa, a seating corner by the glass door to the terrace, and an open area with a kitchenette. Especially when you join two rooms as a family, you have space here to sit together in the evening.
Poolside rooms
The two poolside rooms are newly built, with tasteful furnishings and direct access to the pool, just a few steps from your door. Both rooms are at ground level with step-free access, which also makes them ideal for guests who want as few barriers as possible.

Availability and rates
Prices vary by room category, season, and occupancy. Part of the revenue goes straight into our foundation and supports the people on the farm. New from 2027
The Villa at the waterhole
Right at our waterhole, we are building our exclusive Villa, completely rebuilt and available from 2027. With room for about 10 guests and its own staff, it is yours alone, right among the animals that gather at the waterhole.

Safari & game drives
Whether as a shared experience or out of pure passion for wildlife, a game drive at Okavandu is always an adventure. Our experienced guides take you to where the animals show themselves, so that you can experience real wild animals in their natural habitat.

Farm tour
On a relaxed walk, you get to know our farm and life here up close. You might even meet the animals in our care, right now a little giraffe and a young oryx, both of which we rescued and are raising.

Sundowner
In the late afternoon you head up our sundowner hill, a cool drink in hand and a view across the wide expanse of the farm. A moment to pause before the evening begins.

Hunting
